Founded in 1976 in Norfolk, the Textile Conservation Studio is the National Trust’s only textile conservation treatment facility. We provide specialist conservation services to both National Trust properties and private clients.

The studio is now housed in a specially converted, award winning barn complex on the Blickling Estate. Large flexible working spaces and specialist equipment allow us to handle five metre long curtains or small embroideries.

Our large multidisciplinary team allows us to share skills and expertise to provide you with the most appropriate solutions for your conservation needs.

Our aim is to extend the life of textiles for future generations to enjoy.
